So why popsicles? Well, who doesn't love a cool, refreshing popsicle on a hot summer day? It's a classic American confection that comes in so many fun shapes and flavors, and is produced by artisanal shops, home cooks, and large manufacturers alike. In recent years, frozen treats containing fresh fruit have become popular, yet flavors like chocolate, root beer and cola are still a popular standby.
